Job Opportunity: ERP Developer (D365 Business Central/NAV)-Rosemont IL, Aurora IL
Summary: Impact Business Group is partnering with our Nationwide Commercial Roofing Contractor on a search for a talented and experienced ERP Developer specializing in D365 Business Central (BC)/NAV. Located in Rosemont, IL OR Aurora IL. This role presents an exciting opportunity to ignite your future by contributing to our client's continued success. With over 90 locations and a robust team of more than 4,000 employees, our client is redefining roofing standards. This position offers the chance to leverage your expertise in ERP development and play a pivotal role in the technological advancement of a leading commercial roofing contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain NAV/D365 BC customizations, extensions, and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Translate requirements into technical designs and solutions.
- Develop reports, pages, codeunits, and other objects in D365 BC using AL language.
- Integrate external systems and data sources using web services, APIs, etc.
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve NAV/D365 BC customization issues.
- Enhance performance and scalability of D365 BC solutions.
- Uphold coding standards and best practices in collaboration with the ERP team.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years' experience in NAV or D365 BC development, customization, and integration.
- Proficiency in AL and C/AL languages, and Visual Studio Code.
- Skilled in web services, APIs, and integration methods.
- Skilled in Accounting and Project Management modules
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and finance/accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, detailed solutions.
