  • This position works within the client Properties/Construction department.

  • Works closely with design resources, outside construction management firms, general contractors, etc. To administrate construction   projects.

  • Responsible for financial estimating, budgeting, oversees bidding and contract awards and all construction-related   financial reporting.

  • Manages pre-construction   activities and is the primary project execution   strategist. Approves all contractor invoices, change orders, etc. Including release of final payments and retention. This position is involved in supply chain and manufacturing; and capital project construction.

  • This team member represents client to outside contractors   to assure that corporate standards are met and project objectives   are accomplished.

  • Also works primarily in the field overseeing multiple projects   at various locations. Industrial and food processing new construction   experience is a plus for this position.

  • Oversees field oversight of various construction initiatives including new construction, remodels and capital   projects.

  • Provides project coordination among contractors, client Properties and operators.

  • Monitors construction schedules and activities for compliance with project and program requirements.

  • Progress reporting, field communications, incident   reports.

  • Provides feedback to designers, etc. On document accuracy, areas for improvement, etc.

  • Establishes project delivery schedules for client furnished equipment and provides receiving documentation.

  • Conducts pre-construction and progress meetings. Coordinates client vendor installation.

  • Conducts field inspections, verification of work in place, quality assurance.

  • Participates in facility compliance   surveys.

  • Coordinates project completion certification, punch lists, closeout and warranty activities.

  • Functions as a resource to client Design, outside A/E firms, etc, during design development.

  • Estimates, budgets, and establishes detailed construction   cost

  • projections.

  • Administers construction purchase   orders.

  • Reports all construction-related costs including bid results, building experience, etc.

  • Responsible for project closeout, final reporting,   administers

  • warranties and compliance with document retention   requirements.

  • Bachelor' s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

  • Familiarity with commercial construction building co des.

  • Familiar with commercial construction practices, Project Management software, accounting systems, etc.
