Job Description
Our client, a leader in the Automotive Industry, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production line and ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high levels of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive manufacturing industry and a strong background in production management. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise the production line to ensure production goals are met
* Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency
* Ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are followed to maintain a safe work environment
* Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and maintenance, to resolve production issues and maintain equipment
* Train and mentor production line employees to improve their skills and increase their knowledge of production processes
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that materials are available when needed
* Maintain accurate records of production data and prepare reports for management
* Ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with regulations

Job Requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
* Strong knowledge of production management and manufacturing processes
* Experience in managing production line employees
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production software
* Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferences:
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
* Lean Six Sigma certification
* Familiarity with automotive production systems such as SAP or Oracle
* Bilingual in English and Spanish
