Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan s 10 million residents is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of Administrative Assistant.

DUTIES:

Interacting with both internal and external customers.
Daily work will include creating construction permits, research and accounts payable, billing, print reading.
Answering phones.
A demonstrated proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) or a demonstrated proficiency in supporting an Engineering or Outside Plant organization is required.
Review and interpret documents and drawings.
Consult with Project Coordinators and Subject Matter Experts to review designs and permit requirements.
The successful candidate must have a track record of proven accuracy in interpreting and capturing detailed information.
He/she must have the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

SKILLS:

Strong interpersonal skills are important for this position in order to work well with both customers and employees.
Experience working with SAP desirable. Microsoft word, excel, outlook.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of a high school diploma is generally required for this position, Associates Degree desired.
